About this Classic

1975 datsun s30 280z manual, 75k from new and in excellent condition. This is a rot free car that I bought from South Carolina USA about 3 years ago. Its that rot free you can still see the original spot welds on the sills and rear wheel arches.

When i bought the car it hadn’t run for about 20 years, so has received a lot of new bits, including brake pipes, fuel pump, fuel filters, plugs etc. I’ve also done the valve stem oil seals as they had perished, new water pump, a few fuel injection components, starter motor rebuilt.
New front and rear lights to meet UK regs. The car has had polybushes nylon bushes fitted to the suspension. An upgraded brake servo and master cylinder from a later Datsun 280zx, so now it stops much better than the original. Aswell as new tyres on Datsun ZX iron cross wheels and the much sleeker 240z front bumper… the car does come with a 240z rear bumper but that needs a rechrome, although i actually like the rear bumper off.
The cars also had a professional windows out respray in its original colour as well as a full weatherstrip kit.
The lovely interior has received new seat covers, 240z steering wheel and gear knob as well as a new dash cap.
The car has a cd/mp3 player. So thats what i’ve done to the car and obviously all this has resulted in a very good, fun to drive classic Z, the values of these cars is climbing now and there are many imported cars for restoration, but this one is done and ready to enjoy…
